MY WHY:
Chiropractic gave me life, LITERALLY! My mother was told she would never have children due to medical condition she had at the time. After being under chiropractic care for muscle and spine related issues, she became pregnant with me! With a functioning nervous system and the body connected, her dreams of becoming a mother were now a reality.
"My motivation to become a chiropractor is being able to help give people hope for a healthier and happier life in a completely natural and non-invasive was. I absolutely love witnessing someone's life change by having a functioning nervous system."
Before obtaining her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Alex played soccer all through highschool and college. During these years, she suffered many injuries and even had two knee surgeries, but this didn't stop her from playing the game she loved! Dr. Alex retired from soccer in college at the University of South Carolina - Upstate where she traded her cleats for a gavel; becoming the president of her sorority's chapter. Her passion to bring people together and to become something bigger than herself, she then decided to pursue a career in chiropractic where she obtained her Doctoracte degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2022. Nowadays, Dr. Alex continues her love for education through certification programs offered by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Pediatric Experience to better take care of her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Alex loves being goofy with her husband, Chris, and their two fur babies, Plue the mini dachshund and Liam the border collie (who you might see around the office), cuddling up with a fantasy book, crafting, and anything Disney!
